At the heart of Champagne, GEORGES CLEMENT House is a family winery
located at Mutigny and Mareuil-sur- Ay since 1996.

Our vineyard is located in particular among the most prestigious wines of Champagne
( Ay Mareuil-sur- Ay Mutigny , Avenay val d' Or , Bisseuil , Hautvillers , Le Mesnil- sur-Oger , Tauxières , Verzy, ... . ) .
Our wines are characterized by their elegant , brand terroirs and our passion to develop .
First winemakers , we also have merchant and Manipulating status in order to provide complete
our grape production by necessary purchases perfect assemblages of our vintages
and in order to continue to meet the demands of our many customers.

In our cellars in Mareuil-sur- Ay , we develop in pure champagne tradition
all of our wine production since pressing to shipping our wines.



We grow the big 3 Champagne grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Black and Pinot Meunier based
the particularities of each terroir.
Chardonnay is a white grape that gives the wine its finesse and freshness.
Pinot Black is a black grape that gives power to the structure and vintages.
Pinot Meunier is also a black grape is characteristic by its roundness and aromas of red fruits.

For many years, our rational cultivation approach leads us to minimize the use
processing products and we consider the latest technology
to better respect the environment.

Our workers winemakers rigorously trained , take great care of each vine over
seasons because the grape is the true DNA of the wine and the beginning of the great history of our wines.
The harvest is entirely handmade , one method in order to select the grapes
that will be worthy to go into the composition of our champagnes.


The village of Mareuil-sur- Ay is where we develop all the wines that we produce .
Our work tool consists of presses, a winery and extensive cellars that allow us to keep for many years our bottles .

The cellar is a place of patience and thoroughness or blend tradition and modernity.
Pressing of the grapes is the first step in winemaking. It should be slow and closely as possible the structure of the cluster of grapes.
Since 2006, we have invested in the latest generation of presses in order to obtain an optimal quality of juice.
Our thermo-regulated vats allows us to perform the first alcoholic fermentation at low temperature. This method allows us
retain all their flavors to our wines . In addition it allows us to keep the wine in optimal conditions for the harvest
until the time of the draw ( bottling) and after providing for maintenance of reserve wines to have a unique and regular signing from year to year .
The cellar located 20 meters deep into the chalk , is a place of silence and darkness where every mature bottle quietly
to achieve its ideal fulfillment before tasting.
